On September 5, the media Center Of the government of St. Petersburg hosted a press conference dedicated to the XIII public action " Choose sport!", which will be held on September 8-9
in Expoforum.
The press conference was attended by: Svetlana Kuzmitskaya-Deputy Chairman of the Committee on physical culture and sports; Valery Diev-President of the Regional public organization "basketball Federation of St. Petersburg"; Irina Arkhipova-President and founder of the festival of sports and tourist films "Golden Peak", the author of the project
"You’re the best!"(as part of the Federal project" Alley of sports glory"); Ivan Losev – head of sports news channel" St. Petersburg"; Alexey Molostvov-Director of guest events of"Expoforum – international".
On September 8-9, as part of the public campaign "Choose sport", St. Petersburg residents will be able to get comprehensive and complete information about the city’s programs in the field of physical culture, sports and healthy lifestyles, get acquainted with the work of sports schools and clubs, as well as test themselves in various sports and make an entry
In the program of the exhibition, guests will meet with Olympic Champions and famous coaches, honoring the strongest athletes and performance of the best creative teams of the city, as well as many activities and unforgettable experiences.
For children and adolescents will be presented a wide range of interactive platforms, which will have the opportunity to test their strength and capabilities in numerous sports disciplines, and having decided on the choice, representatives of sports schools will help parents to record young talents in the nearest sports section.
In addition, the guests of the action will have a business program, which will include a Round table: "Cinema and sports – the verge of cooperation", "development of sports cinema cluster in St. Petersburg".
The round table will announce the contest " You are the Best!", designed to identify the most outstanding achievements of athletes in different sports, as well as the international festival of sports and tourist films "Golden Peak", which will be held within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum in November 2018.
