In St. Petersburg there have fabulous taken place the Sea festival and the Baltic sailing regatta!

On July 8 in St. Petersburg the River carnival with participation of 20 decorated motor ships which have passed by the amazed public from Mikhailovsky Garden across Fontanka, and also Kryukov Canal, the Moika River and the Winter Canal has taken place, and then left to Neva.
Across the rivers there have passed river trams on which fairy tale and historical characters welcomed public. Each vessel has submitted the competitive program. Performances were followed by songs from the Soviet movies and music of river and sea subject.
On the beach of the Peter and Paul Fortress following the results of a carnival have chosen the best motor ship.
In the water area of Neva tows "have danced" a waltz and a proud parade there have passed yachts.
So brightly in St. Petersburg the Sea festival and the Baltic sailing regatta have opened.
On July 8-9 in St. Petersburg there has taken place the Fontanka SUP-2017 festival representing surfing on a board with an oar. More than 200 people have taken part in a fancy-dress carnival on water.
In the evening on July 9 at 17:00 at Palace Square the Nevsky Symphony festival has begun and there has taken place the concert "Hits of three centuries" devoted to Day of the employee of the sea and river fleet.
Also citizens and city visitors enjoyed the concert program of "The Nevsky symphony" on spit of Vasilyevsky Island which was broadcast on the big screens placed into the Palace Square and beaches of the Peter and Paul Fortress. A concert consisted of three parts, has begun with the jazz, has continued opera classics, and in the final the world famous violinist Edwin Marton has acted.
"Waltz of Sails" and colourful water and light show at the Peter and Paul Fortress became a final chord of Sea Assembly. On July 9 on a rocket signal about 40 yachts which sails have been illuminated by multi-colored fires have passed a parade and have begun to spin in a round dance in the water area of Neva at spit of Vasilyevsky Island under classical music.
After the parade Petersburgers and city visitors enjoyed fireworks which were for the first time started from three ships. At this moment of the yacht sailing vessels have gracefully departed to Troitsky Bridge, and then – again have returned to the center of Neva and have passed a parade.
