IN ST. PETERSBURG HOSTS BALTIC YACHT WEEK 2017
July 3 at the Admiralty embankment, the opening of the BALTIC YACHT WEEK which takes place in the Northern capital in 3 to July 9, 2017 in the St. Petersburg Marine Assembly.
Organizers: Committee for tourism development of St. Petersburg and the St. Petersburg sailing Union.
There, on the Admiralty embankment from July 3rd-9th street located fotoekspeditsiya "Petersburg – the sailing capital of Russia". You will see hundreds of works by St. Petersburg yacht photographers and historical pictures. The exhibition is organized in cooperation with ROSPHOTO, representing the fair "Yacht "Shtandart" and the family of the last Russian Emperor" at the St. Petersburg Marine Assembly 2017. In addition, on the Admiralty embankment presented a multimedia exhibition "a Trip on the cruiser "Dmitry Donskoy"". Technical partner of photography - multimedia-integrator Ascreen - helped to come up with an interesting form to promote this project, creating an interactive installation, inviting everyone to join the voyage.
From 3 to 7 July at 13.00 the Museum of Water, sue "Vodokanal of St. Petersburg" is an interactive program "Baltic cruise". Visitors will be able to plunge into an imaginary journey across the expanses of the Baltic sea, to learn a lot of facts about it and its inhabitants, as well as to take part in a chemical experiment to assess the quality of water to perform the task on the interactive table to demonstrate their knowledge in a quiz. From 5 to 9 July in the Museum complex "universe of water" from 15.00 there will pass the program "Cherish and help along the Baltic sea to save!", devoted to the improvement of water quality of natural waters and the rescue of marine mammals.
In addition, the Central naval Museum until July 9, inclusive, an exhibition of photographs "the Aristocrats of the seas", which presented pictures of the snow-white frigate – the famous sailing ships of the Russian fleet "Kruzenshtern", "Nadezhda", "Pallada", "World", "Hersonissos", "Sedov" made in the world’s biggest regattas.

The events on 8 and 9 July will take place on the Neva river, bounded the Palace, Exchange and Trinity bridges.

11.45: review of the yacht of the Governor of St. Petersburg G. S. Poltavchenko. The Governor’s review of the yacht – the revival of the tradition established in St. Petersburg in 1909.
12.00: Sailing regatta, the start of which will give the Governor.
16.00: For the time performances of the kite on the water, you will have two leading Russian athlete: Yelena Kalinina, a world leader in the kiteboarding world champion, three-time European champion, two-time winner of the all-Russian award "yachtsman of the year", nominated also at the world award ISAF Rolex World Sailor of the Year Awards, and Andrey balyakin, over the last eight years, consistently won prizes at the world and European Championships, world champion, the triple champion of Russia, the double owner of the Cup of Russia.

Both days 8 and 9 July, citizens will be organized ski school on yachts. The start is from the pier on Mytninskaya nab. no appointment: you need to come in the living place. First outing at 10.00 am.
