At the end of the last week in headquarters of the Russian geographical society there took place the II International festival of sports and tourist movies "Gold Top". His organizer and the inspirer - the famous film documentary film maker Irina Arkhipova.
Cambodia with her impassable jungle and mystical ruins of the ancient cities, the African savannas, Norway with fjords is and many other things the audience and judges saw on the festival screen. As one of judges film director Yury Mamin has noticed, to define winners was difficult: participants of a festival have presented many good movies. The Grand Prix has been awarded the movie "with Putorana Plateau. Unapproachable beauty", made the Russian TV channel "My Planet". The jury has awarded thirteen more prizes in various nominations, and also the Prize of spectator sympathies. This award Sergey Asaulenko’s work "Shikotan - the island at the world’s end" is awarded.
